Electrical Shift Maintenance Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Shift Maintenance Engineer to join our team at Marshalls PLC's Keele site. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the continuous running of our production process by eliminating downtime through safe and logical approaches to fault-finding and maintenance of all site equipment and machinery.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure the continuous running of the production process by eliminating downtime through safe and logical approaches to fault-finding and maintenance of all site equipment and machinery.
  • Work on various types of equipment including complex hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical/electronic control systems.
  • Execute PPM and provide input into systems & process improvements.
  • Support/provide input into feasibility studies, CAPEX & CI projects.
  • Be a team player with an attention to detail.
  • Good understanding of current environmental, health and safety regulations & requirements.
  • Ability to interrogate/understand maintenance problems to provide accurate plant condition information/recommendations.
  • Computer literate with excellent communication skills.
Requirements:
  • Excellent electrical engineering skills with mechanical experience is essential.
  • Apprentice trained Engineer to NVQ Level 3 standard in an Engineering discipline preferred.
  • JIB 18th edition qualified.
  • PLC fault finding and diagnostic skills (programming experience would be an advantage).
