Female Support Worker

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Female Support Worker to join our team at Accomplish, providing specialist support and education for adults with learning disabilities, autism, mental health needs, and acquired brain injury.
The successful candidate will work in our supported living service in Harrow, promoting a person-centred support culture and delivering high-quality care and support to our service users.
Key Responsibilities- Promote and deliver a person-centred support culture across the service
- Support people with all aspects of their daily living, including personal care and medication
- Support and coach people to learn independent living skills, such as cooking and laundry
- Support people to access the community for social, educational, or employment opportunities
- Safeguard service users' rights and dignity
- Take an active role in people's support plans and risk assessments
- Provide effective communication within the team and attend regular team and service user meetings
- Liaise professionally with family members and other professionals
- Previous experience of working with adults with learning disabilities or the ability to transfer existing skills to this role
- An effective team member
- Flexible to meet the needs of the service
- A positive attitude and passion for supporting adults with learning disabilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent IT skills
- A full manual driving licence and use of a car is desirable
- 5.6 weeks' annual leave
- A free DBS check
