Job Title: Volunteer Trust Researcher

About the Role:
As a key member of our Fundraising team, you will contribute to raising funds for Lewis-Manning Hospice Care. Your primary responsibility will be researching potential funders, mainly Charitable Trusts and Foundations, to support our activities.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough online searches for suitable trusts.
  • Maintain open communication with trusts via phone calls and correspondence to ascertain eligibility.
  • Keep detailed records of trusts researched, approached, and outcomes.
  • Assist in preparing and submitting applications.
  • Support other related activities as identified by the fundraiser and yourself.

Skills Required:
  • Ability to research and work independently.
  • A warm and friendly telephone manner.

Training and Development:
You will receive guidance and training from a member of the Trust Fundraising team. Additionally, there may be opportunities to get involved in other areas of fundraising, working with the team or exploring your own initiatives.

Estimated Salary: £25,000 - £30,000 per annum
