About the Role

This is an exceptional opportunity for an experienced and client-focused mechanical building services professional to join Cundall's Edinburgh office, playing a key role in ensuring the successful delivery of cutting-edge mechanical design solutions for some of the most exciting building projects in the UK and worldwide.

Predominantly working with large and innovative corporate entities across the UK and EMEA regions, you will deliver state-of-the-art workplaces that enable these companies' employees to excel and make a significant impact. The successful candidate will take a key role in delivering these projects while managing Cundall's specialist engineers.

You will work closely with colleagues from various disciplines, including external local engineering partners, to manage the delivery of technically excellent, profitable projects.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and nurture outstanding client relationships that maximize satisfaction and ensure repeat business.
  • Use your wealth of expertise and leadership skills to manage, motivate, and inspire less experienced engineers.
  • Deliver high-quality engineering solutions that meet client expectations.

Requirements

Education to degree level in Building Services Engineering, with substantial experience in a Mechanical Engineering role within a building services context (ventilation, cooling, and air conditioning, heating systems, and knowledge of design of public health systems, etc.).

Experience of working in healthcare environments, along with knowledge of various technical guidance documents, would be an advantage.

You should possess sound knowledge of Revit and have proven experience in creative, sustainable, and intuitive design.

Excellent communication and project management skills are essential for this collaborative and client-focused role.
