We are seeking a highly skilled Assistant Accounting Manager to join our dynamic team at Robert Walters. As a key member of our accounting team, you will play a vital role in managing a diverse client portfolio, supporting the development of junior team members, and enhancing accounting workflows.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage a diverse portfolio of jobs within the accounts team, ensuring timely and accurate completion of tasks.
- Support the management team and Principals of the firm, providing expert advice and guidance on accounting matters.
- Review and finalise accounts under the guidance of the Senior Manager and Principals, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
- Prepare Corporate Tax Returns for FRS 105 clients, utilizing your expertise in accounting standards and tax laws.
- Develop and maintain efficient accounting workflows and processes, improving productivity and reducing errors.
- Assist in the development and mentorship of junior team members, providing guidance and support to help them grow in their roles.
- Build and manage strong client relationships, ensuring excellent customer service and satisfaction.
- ACA or ACCA qualified with 1-2 years post-qualification experience, with a strong understanding of accounting standards and tax laws.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and clients.
- Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines, with a strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Experience in mentoring and developing junior staff, with a passion for helping others grow and succeed.
- A proactive team player with strong problem-solving skills, able to work collaboratively with others to achieve common goals.
- Flexible Working: Balance your time between office and home, with a range of flexible working options to suit your needs.
- Annual Bonus: Equivalent to 1 week's salary, recognizing your hard work and contributions to the team.
