Faculty Leader

We are seeking an innovative and dynamic leader to head our STEM faculty, covering science, mathematics, psychology, food & nutrition, computing, and astronomy. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team of experienced and talented faculty staff, driving academic excellence, and developing the faculty's extra-curricular programme.

The ideal candidate will have excellent relationships with students, a belief in a High Performance Learning approach, and a commitment to innovative teaching methods. They will be expected to teach 80% of a timetable and take on form tutor responsibilities if required.

The successful candidate will:

1. Lead the faculty in achieving academic excellence and driving student progress.
2. Develop and implement innovative teaching methods to engage students and improve outcomes.
3. Work collaboratively with colleagues to support the development of teaching and learning within the faculty.
4. Contribute to whole school life, including extra-curricular activities, school trips, and after-school clubs.
