We are seeking a reliable and punctual Female Personal Assistant to support an individual with frontotemporal dementia in their home and community. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the individual's safety and well-being, providing meals and drinks, and assisting with light household duties.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure the individual's safety and well-being within their home and community
- Support the individual with daily tasks and activities
- Provide meals and drinks throughout the day
- Assist with light household duties
Requirements
- Reliable and punctual
- Able to respect the individual's and family's privacy and confidentiality
- Flexible and adaptable to meet the individual's needs
- Able to support the individual to maintain and develop relationships with friends and family
Desirable Qualities
- Emotionally intelligent and able to pick up on non-verbal communication
- Previous experience of working with people with dementia or similar conditions
- Full driving licence and access to car with business insurance
- Enjoys music and has a good sense of humour
