Job Summary:

EA First is seeking an experienced Maintenance Engineer/Technician to join our team based out of our new site in Coventry. As a Maintenance Engineer/Technician, you will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of our automated warehouse equipment, ensuring that all equipment is functioning properly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance tasks on automated warehouse equipment, including AMR, ASRS, and sorters.
  • Identify and troubleshoot equipment issues, making repairs and adjustments as needed.
  • Collaborate with the engineering team to ensure that all maintenance schedules are completed on time and to a high standard.
  • Develop and implement maintenance procedures to improve equipment efficiency and reduce downtime.
  • Provide technical support and training to other team members as needed.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest maintenance technologies and techniques, applying this knowledge to improve our equipment and processes.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in maintenance engineering, with a focus on electrical and mechanical work.
  • Proven track record of independently working on automated warehouse equipment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and other software applications.
