We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Regulatory Lawyer to join our team at Michael Page (UK). As a Senior Regulatory Lawyer, you will be responsible for providing expert legal advice on regulatory matters related to water and waste, water fittings, water resources, street works, charges schemes, and drought.

You will work closely with our clients to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in environmental law, with a minimum of 10 years of post-qualification experience (PQE) in a regulated sector, preferably in the water and sewage sector.

You will be responsible for managing a small team and providing guidance and support to junior lawyers.

The role requires a high level of autonomy, with the ability to work independently and make sound judgments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Providing expert legal advice on regulatory matters related to water and waste, water fittings, water resources, street works, charges schemes, and drought.
  • Managing a small team of lawyers and providing guidance and support.
  • Developing and implementing regulatory strategies to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Collaborating with internal stakeholders to ensure effective communication and coordination.
  • Staying up-to-date with relevant legal, legislative, and regulatory developments.
