Permanent Sous Chef Opportunity in Northampton

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sous Chef to join our client's dynamic kitchen team in the picturesque outskirts of Northampton.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a talented Sous Chef to take on a permanent role and contribute to the success of our client's restaurant.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Head Chef in managing the kitchen and ensuring the smooth operation of the restaurant.
  • Oversee the preparation and presentation of dishes, maintaining high standards of quality and presentation.
  • Lead a team of chefs and kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent service.
  • Collaborate with the kitchen team to develop new menu ideas and improve existing dishes.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain a clean and hygienic kitchen environment.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Sous Chef in a high-volume kitchen environment.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Excellent culinary skills, with a passion for creating innovative and delicious dishes.
  • Ability to work under pressure and maintain a calm and composed demeanor in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
  • Driving license, as the location of the restaurant requires regular travel.
