Plant Equipment Specialist

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Engineering Operations Manager to join our team. This key role involves overseeing the establishment of new production equipment and facilities by project managing small and medium projects from concept to handover. You will lead a multi-functional team to drive continuous improvement initiatives and ensure efficient production processes.
Salary Package: The estimated salary for this position is £50,000 per annum, with the possibility of a performance bonus up to 10%. Additionally, you will receive a contributory pension and health cash back plan.
Main Responsibilities:
- Drive Continuous Improvement: Lead change management associated with CI Project activities, addressing production difficulties through effective solution development and implementation.
- Manage Projects: Project manage small and medium projects from concept to handover, adhering to timelines and budgets.
- Develop Team Members: Foster a culture of excellence among team members, providing guidance and support to ensure they meet their goals.
Necessary Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven expertise in Project Planning and Project Management, especially in high-value equipment installation.
- Degree qualified with a minimum of 5 years' experience in a comparable role within the Engineering/Manufacturing sector.
- Proficiency in Continuous Improvement activities, Legislation and Compliance, and Contractor management.
