About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Kitchen Porter to join our team at Dukes Hotel and The Bird, Bath. As a Kitchen Porter, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our kitchen, ensuring a safe and efficient working environment for our chefs and kitchen staff.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including cleaning equipment, utensils, and work surfaces.
- Assist with the preparation and presentation of food, including washing and peeling vegetables, and cleaning and sanitizing equipment.
- Help to maintain a safe and healthy working environment, including adhering to food safety and hygiene procedures.
- Assist with the receipt and storage of food and supplies, including checking for quality and freshness.
- Participate in the maintenance of the kitchen's appearance, including cleaning and polishing equipment and surfaces.
