Job Description:
Voscur is seeking a compassionate and dedicated individual to join our team as a volunteer mentor for young adults. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in supporting individuals who have faced homelessness and are eager to make a positive impact in their lives.

About the Role:
This volunteer opportunity involves working closely with 16- to 25-year-olds who have experienced or are at risk of homelessness. As a mentor, you will provide guidance, support, and encouragement to help them overcome challenges and achieve their goals. You will be based in our offices in Bristol and will work alongside an experienced colleague to ensure a smooth and effective mentoring process.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide one-to-one support and guidance to young adults
- Encourage and empower young people to take control of their lives and make informed decisions
- Help develop life skills, confidence, and self-esteem
- Facilitate group activities and workshops to promote engagement and social interaction
- Collaborate with our Participation Team to ensure seamless delivery of services

Requirements:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to empathize with others and maintain professional boundaries
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new situations
- Commitment to safeguarding and child protection policies
- Enhanced DBS check and two satisfactory references required
