Job Title: Associate Haematology Specialist Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Associate Haematology Specialist Nurse to join our team at North East London NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our Intensive Support Day Service, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to children and young people with eating disorders.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to deliver evidence-based care to patients with eating disorders.
  • Lead the nursing team, providing guidance and support to junior members to ensure safe and effective care.
  • Conduct risk assessments and develop individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
  • Collaborate with families and carers to provide education and support, promoting a holistic approach to care.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of new care pathways and services to improve patient outcomes.
Requirements:
  • Essential: 2+ years of experience in a similar role, with a strong background in eating disorder care.
  • Desirable: Experience working with children and young people, with a focus on mental health and wellbeing.
