About the Role

We are seeking outstanding Teaching Assistants to join our dedicated school team at High Well School, a Special School catering for pupils with complex and vulnerable needs. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the teaching and learning of our students, providing personalized support and specialist teaching to enable them to re-engage in learning and develop their social and emotional skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide general support with learning activities, including organizing teaching equipment and ensuring it is in safe working order.
  • Support the positive management of behaviour, interventions, and reward.
  • Work collaboratively with teaching staff to deliver personalized learning plans and support the development of secure relationships between pupils and staff.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team or independently using your own initiative.
  • Initiative to organize teaching equipment and ensure it is in safe working order.
  • Ability to provide general support with learning activities.
  • Skills in supporting the positive management of behaviour, interventions, and reward.
