Job Description

In this role, you will program, set up, and operate CNC machines to produce precision tools, fixtures, and components. You will work closely with the engineering and production teams to ensure quality standards and specifications are met.

Responsibilities

• Programming and operating CNC machines (lathes, mills, etc.) to produce high-quality precision tools and components.
• Interpreting technical drawings and specifications to ensure exact measurements and tolerances.
• Collaborating with engineers and designers to optimize tooling solutions and ensure product quality.
• Maintaining CNC machines to ensure optimal performance.
• Conducting quality checks using precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges).
• Troubleshooting machining issues and making necessary adjustments.
• Maintaining a safe, organized, and efficient work environment.

What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary of £45,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience. In addition, we provide a range of benefits, including a comprehensive pension scheme, 31 days' holiday (increasing to 33 days after 2 years of service), and paid time off annually to volunteer.
