Mechanical Estimator Position

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Estimator to join our team at RDM Electrical and Mechanical Services. The successful candidate will be responsible for undertaking estimates ranging in value up to £(phone number removed), with a mix of traditional and Design & Build projects.
The role will entail working as part of the wider team to review and analysis of all relevant documentation, obtain supplier and subcontract quotations for all mechanical disciplines, and forecasting labour costs by calculating the number of workers needed to complete the job based on their hourly rate and working hours per week.
A sound technical knowledge of all Mechanical systems is essential, including LTHW, DWS, Gas, AGD, Ventilation, BMS, and Air Conditioning. The ideal candidate will have commercial awareness, teamworking, relationship-building, and influencing skills, as well as a background in mechanical engineering and a minimum of 2 years experience in an estimating capacity.
