About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Automotive Technician to join our team at Rubber Duck Cars. As a Motor Vehicle Technician, you will be responsible for carrying out vehicle maintenance and repair, utilizing your technical knowledge to test, diagnose, and resolve faults.

Main Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake pad replacements
  • Diagnose and repair complex mechanical and electrical issues
  • Inspect and test vehicle subsystems, including engines, transmissions, and suspension systems
  • Repair and replace parts, using a variety of tools and equipment
  • Liaise with customers to understand their vehicle needs and provide solutions
  • Work collaboratively with other technicians to achieve efficiency targets
Requirements
  • Level 3 Vehicle Maintenance and Repair NVQ or equivalent
  • Experience working with modern diagnostic equipment
  • Ability to work to the highest quality standards
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Full UK driving license
  • VOSA-approved MOT tester an advantage
