About the Role

The Government Property Agency is driving transformation in the Civil Service, reshaping workplaces and relationships. As part of this journey, we need a skilled individual to lead physical security assurance across our estate.

This role requires someone with expertise in conducting security assessments, audits, and compliance reviews. You will work closely with client departments, stakeholders, and facilities management partners to ensure they understand their roles and responsibilities in relation to physical security.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing on-site advice on physical security matters, including incident management investigations
  • Developing client department understanding of their roles and responsibilities in relation to physical security compliance
  • Carrying out physical security assessments and inspections, identifying vulnerabilities, near misses, risks, and issues
  • Identifying effective corrective actions to mitigate or repair physical security weaknesses
  • Liaising directly with stakeholders, client departments, and facilities management partners/suppliers to review security-related documentation
