About the Role

We're seeking a skilled Commercial Heating Engineer to join our team at Octopus Energy. As a key member of our team, you'll play a crucial role in installing low-carbon technology in customers' homes, starting with Air Source Heat Pumps.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work collaboratively with our team to install low-carbon technology, including Air Source Heat Pumps
  • Develop expertise in new technologies and participate in our innovative training program at our £10m R&D centre
  • Use your knowledge and experience to deliver exceptional customer experiences
  • Review and collaborate on technical specifications and mechanical drawings
  • Work with an electrician to commission Air Source Heat Pumps
  • Lead your team, taking responsibility for your crew and empowering them to make informed decisions

Requirements

  • G3 (unvented cylinder) qualification or equivalent experience
  • Experience in boiler installation and knowledge of air source heat pumps
  • Experience as a plumbing and heating engineer with knowledge of heating system design and fault-finding
  • Full UK driving licence (no more than 6 points)
