We are seeking a highly skilled and organized Assistant Accountant to join our finance team at Page Personnel Finance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and enter journals into the system with accuracy and efficiency.
- Process supplier and expense payments in a timely manner.
- Complete daily and monthly bank reconciliations to ensure financial accuracy.
- Monitor credit and chase debt to minimize financial risks.
- Support the preparation of management accounts and month-end duties.
- Manage finance portals with lenders to ensure seamless transactions.
- Support VAT return processing to ensure compliance.
Requirements:
- Ability to work accurately and efficiently as part of a team.
- Strong analytical skills and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in spreadsheet software and IT skills.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Organized and able to prioritize tasks effectively.
Salary: £32-35,000
