Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide high-quality diagnostic imaging services in accordance with practice standards and medical ethics.
  • Work collaboratively with medical staff to ensure efficient appointment scheduling and procedure execution.
  • Contribute to the development of trainees and other staff members to enhance health outcomes.
  • Adhere to operational protocols, systems, and standards to achieve quality, cost, and productivity targets.
  • Participate in continuing professional development (CPD) to maintain APHRA standards.
  • Maximize clinic and staff resources to ensure timely imaging of unexpected, urgent, or priority patients.
  • Perform radiography tasks with a high level of energy, motivation, and commitment to deliver excellent results.
  • Apply advanced knowledge of pathology to daily activities, identifying complementary modalities.
  • Hold a Bachelor of Science (Medical Imaging) or recognized equivalent qualification.
  • For MRI radiographers, achieve AIR MRI level 1 and 2 accreditation or equivalent.
