Job Title: Senior Quantity Surveyor

We are seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our team in Bradford. As a key member of our commercial team, you will be responsible for leading commercial activities on large projects, ensuring timely and accurate valuations, and maintaining positive relationships with clients and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage commercial aspects of large projects, ensuring delivery to agreed profit margins and other deliverables.
  • Undertake regular reviews of commercial performance to improve certainty and maximize success.
  • Ensure best practice and continuous improvement in commercial processes on site.
  • Provide high-quality management information to senior management.
  • Lead and develop a commercial team to ensure a fully integrated project team.
Requirements:
  • Main contractor experience within the construction market.
  • Direct experience of different project types.
  • Experience of different contracts forms, including management forms, 2-stage, single-stage, and Design & Build.
  • Experience as a Lead Surveyor on projects ranging between £20m to £50m.
  • Demonstrably commercially focused with a proven track record of delivering high-quality results while maintaining positive relationships in difficult commercial environments.
  • Experience in claims resolution, both with the Employer and Sub-Contractor.
  • Experience in establishing, managing, and leading a large project team and/or multiple smaller project teams.
