About Your New Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Solicitor / Associate to join our Property Damage team in Manchester. As a key member of our team, you will support our partners and senior lawyers in managing complex property damage claims.

Main Responsibilities

  • Assist in the proactive management of cases, including subrogated recoveries and defence of claims made against policyholders
  • Prepare detailed reports, correspondence, and court documents
  • Advise clients on issues of liability and coverage
  • Liaise with insurer and insured clients, experts, witnesses, counsel, and other parties
  • Ensure compliance with client service level agreements, relevant policies, and procedures

About You

  • 2-6 years' PQE or equivalent experience in insurance litigation and policy coverage analysis
  • Experience of property damage claims and commercial insurance policies
  • Strong analytical and legal skills, with a commercial, solution-driven approach
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a positive attitude
