Job Summary:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and committed Cardiology Consultant to join our team at Salford Royal NHS Foundation Trust. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our Cardiology service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing expert medical care to patients with cardiovascular conditions
- Participating in the development and implementation of clinical guidelines and policies
- Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care
- Conducting research and audits to improve patient outcomes
- Supervising and mentoring junior doctors and medical students
Requirements:
- Eligibility to be on the Specialist Register holding CCT in Cardiology or expect to do so within 6 months of interview
- Competence in complex pacing
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
