Optometrist Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Optometrist to join our team at Zest Business Group. As an Optometrist, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional eye care services to our patients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough eye examinations, including contact lens care and other eyecare services.
  • Work independently as the sole Optometrist, taking a clinical lead and contributing to practice growth.
  • Utilize advanced testing equipment, including OCT and Optomap, to provide efficient and effective care.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, understanding their unique needs and desires.
  • Explain examination procedures and discuss vision correction options with patients.
  • Refer patients to colleagues as necessary and ensure seamless handovers.
  • Introduce patients to contact lens benefits and provide high-quality fittings and aftercare.
  • Collaborate with the Practice Manager to drive practice development and achieve customer delight and sales results.
  • Participate in cross-group discussions to improve eyecare services delivery.
Requirements:
  • Fully qualified Optometrist registered with the GOC.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience.
  • Clinically focused with a passion for delivering exceptional patient care.
  • Interest in further training and professional development.
What We Offer:
  • Competitive salary between £50,000 to £55,000.
  • Bonus scheme with 10% of base salary.
