Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Fitter to join our team as a contract role focusing on the assembly and fitting of sewage infrastructure as per engineering designs. The work involves challenging environments, including confined spaces, to ensure the precise assembly of stormwater management systems.

About the Role

  • Assemble and fit 300–400 cast iron pipes to sewage tanks as part of stormwater management systems.
  • Connect components to pumping stations and reinforced concrete boxes (RCBs).
  • Work with nuts, bolts, flanges, and apply correct torque settings.
  • Interpret and follow P&ID (Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams) for precise assembly.
  • Perform tasks in confined spaces and at heights when required.
  • Ensure secure fittings and connections that meet stringent safety standards.
  • Maintain accuracy and efficiency in assembling infrastructure per design.

Salary Information

The estimated salary range for this position is £45,000 - £55,000 per annum, depending on experience.
