Job Purpose:



This role is key to ensuring the smooth operation of our site locations. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for carrying out planned and reactive maintenance across multiple sites.



You will be the first point of contact for all maintenance issues and will work to resolve these efficiently and effectively.



About the Role

This is a varied role that requires a high level of technical competence. You will be working with a range of electrical and mechanical equipment, including commercial ovens, dishwashers, and microwaves.



You will be required to work independently and as part of a team to achieve the required maintenance and repair work.



Responsibilities

The following are key responsibilities for this role:




  • Carry out planned and reactive maintenance across multiple sites
  • Respond to service call requests in a timely and efficient manner
  • Work with customers and colleagues to resolve maintenance and repair issues
  • Complete all necessary paperwork and documentation
  • Identify and report any non-repairable faults in plant and machinery
  • Work with the team to achieve agreed maintenance and repair schedules


The successful candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.



Requirements

The following are key requirements for this role:




  • GCSE/Standard Grade level as a minimum, NVQ Level 3/City and Guilds 236 Part 1 + 2 or equivalent in electrical installation/maintenance
  • City and Guilds 2382 18th edition qualification
  • 3-phase electrics and its applications
  • Ability to maintain and repair a wide range of electrical and food services mechanical equipment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
