Job Title: Trainee Site Technician

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized and communicative individual to work as a Trainee Site Technician. The successful candidate will be responsible for traveling to various sites, gathering and producing test results, and ensuring that all testing and sampling activities comply with UKAS and company requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Travel to various sites to gather and produce test results in adherence to documented procedures, standards, and specifications.
  • Ensure that testing and sampling activities comply with UKAS and company requirements.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and tidy working environment in the laboratory and on site.
  • Uphold a culture of impartiality to prevent conflicts within the company's quality management systems and commercial relationships.
  • Maintain confidentiality of customer information obtained during laboratory activities, as required by law.

Duties:

  • Work safely in accordance with the Company Health & Safety Policy.
  • Execute assigned tasks promptly following in-house procedures.
  • Foster team integration and maintain morale within the laboratory.
  • Perform daily work tasks as instructed by senior personnel.
  • Keep work environment and equipment clean and tidy.
  • Fulfill any additional tasks assigned by senior staff.

Requirements:

  • Possession of a CSCS card is advantageous.
  • Prior laboring or general construction, or similar work within a similar industry experience is advantageous.
  • UK Driving License (Manual) is required for the Site Technician role.
