Clinical Academic Consultant Physician in Healthcare for Older Adults

We are seeking a Clinical Academic Consultant Physician in Healthcare for Older Adults to join our team at the Royal Devon University Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust and the University of Exeter Medical School.
The successful candidate will be based in the RDUH Trust eastern locality, working 50% clinically and 50% academically. The clinical part will be based at the Royal Devon and Exeter Hospital, where the Healthcare for Older People (HfOP) department is a friendly, supportive, and thriving environment.
As a team, we undertake a range of undergraduate and postgraduate teaching activities with enthusiasm and a shared commitment to deliver high-quality training. We have a strong reputation for engagement in research and consistently high recruitment for many studies in the fields of stroke, Parkinson's Disease, and dementia.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for academic medicine and a desire to contribute to the development of our department. They will be expected to work collaboratively with our team to deliver high-quality patient care and contribute to the advancement of medical knowledge.
