Overview

Theatre Healthcare Assistant Role

Circle Health Group is seeking a skilled and compassionate Theatre Healthcare Assistant to join their team in the Theatre department at Ross Hall Hospital. This is a bank role working on an "as and when required" basis, requiring the successful candidate to supplement staffing levels during busy periods and provide cover for existing staff in times of annual leave or absence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality patient care and support to patients undergoing surgery
  • Assist theatre staff with preparing patients for surgery, maintaining a safe and clean environment, and ensuring the smooth running of theatre sessions
  • Work collaboratively with the theatre team to achieve excellent patient outcomes and provide a positive experience for patients and their families
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and colleagues to ensure a supportive and inclusive environment

Requirements

  • Care Certificate
  • Previous experience in a Healthcare Assistant role
