We are seeking a seasoned Refurbishment Project Manager to oversee a comprehensive renovation project across high-rise dwellings in West and North London.



As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving this project forward by managing a site team, including Assistant Site Managers and Customer Service Officers. Your primary focus will be on delivering external refurbishment programs to tenanted properties, ensuring that all works meet the required standards and are completed on time and within budget.



This role requires a proven track record of managing similar projects, including external cladding with a reputable main contractor. You must have experience in controlling costs, managing subcontractors, and implementing effective health and safety protocols. Your ability to work collaboratively with clients, contract administrators, and design teams will be crucial in delivering a high-quality service.



The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and organizational skills, with a strong attention to detail and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for programming works using MS Project, scheduling and procuring materials, and chairing sub-contractor progress meetings.



In addition to your technical skills, you will be working for a forward-thinking business that values the strengths, skills, and personalities of its people. This is a full-time, permanent role that offers a highly competitive salary of up to £55,000 + car/travel allowance + benefits.



For this role, you will need to be a proactive and hands-on individual with a proven ability to drive sites forward through effective management and site presence. Your knowledge of cost control, subcontractor management, and health and safety standards will be essential in ensuring the success of this project.



Key Responsibilities


  • Control the overall direction of the project while maintaining financial control of the contract
  • Work in partnership with clients and contract administrators to ensure a high-quality service delivery
  • Implement short, mid, and long-term programs for various work streams
  • Carry out onsite inspections, investigate, and prepare reports to maintain continuous improvement
  • Hand over properties on time, working to strict key performance indicators
  • Liaise with clients, contract administrators, and design teams
  • Health and safety on site
  • Management and control of site administration and staff
  • Scheduling and procurement of materials
  • Chair sub-contractor progress meetings
