About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Purchase Ledger Manager to join our team in Bradford. The successful candidate will be responsible for controlling all aspects of the purchase ledger, motivating and managing a team of up to 4 people, and ensuring the smooth operation of purchase ledger processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Controlling all aspects of the purchase ledger, including stock suppliers, cashflow, and supplier payment runs.
  • Motivating and managing a team of up to 4 people to achieve excellent results.
  • Inputting and reviewing invoice status daily to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
  • Controlling and chasing credit claims to minimize delays and maximize cash flow.
  • Processing and posting overhead invoices to Sage 200 in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Agreeing purchase ledger to supplier statements on a weekly basis to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Resolving any supplier queries in a professional and timely manner.
  • Conducting team catch-ups and reviews to ensure excellent team performance.
  • Performing ad-hoc financial and administration duties as required.

About You:

We are looking for an experienced Purchase Ledger Manager or Supervisor with a strong background in finance and administration. You will have excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a team to achieve excellent results. You will also have a strong understanding of Sage and be able to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
