We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Care Home Manager to join our team at Ideal Carehomes Ltd. As a key member of our management team, you will play a crucial role in supporting the smooth operation of our care home, ensuring the highest standards of care and service are delivered to our residents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the management of staff, ensuring they have the necessary training and support to deliver exceptional care and service.
- Develop and implement effective marketing strategies to increase occupancy and commercial business targets.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with local communities, healthcare professionals, and other stakeholders to promote our care home and services.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies, including health and safety and fire safety requirements.
- Conduct regular staff supervisions and appraisals to ensure staff are meeting their performance targets and providing the highest standard of care.
- Oversee the day-to-day operation of the care home, including the front of house, catering, and housekeeping departments.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a care home management role, with a strong track record of delivering high-quality care and service.
- Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire staff to deliver exceptional results.
- Strong marketing and business development skills, with the ability to develop and implement effective strategies to increase occupancy and commercial business targets.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with staff, residents, and stakeholders.
- Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and company policies, including health and safety and fire safety requirements.
