Assistant Estimator Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Estimator to join our team at A.D.S Construction Personnel Ltd. As an Assistant Estimator, you will play a crucial role in reviewing roofing tender packages, surveying sites, and preparing comprehensive bids.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Review Tender Packages: You will be responsible for reviewing tender packages, understanding project requirements, and getting the best prices for materials, access facilities, and subcontractor works.
  • Site Survey: You will conduct full measured surveys to ascertain the nature of the roofing works required, including domestic properties and large office buildings.
  • Preparing the Bid: You will complete take-offs and put together comprehensive estimates for the roofing and associated works.
Requirements:
  • Current and valid UK Driving License
  • GCSE in Mathematics and English of grade C or above
  • Competency in Microsoft Office (Word and Excel)
  • Good work ethic
  • Confident communicator
