Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Healthcare Assistant to join our dynamic team at Ravensbury Park Medical Centre. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and support.

Main Responsibilities:

• Provide delegated healthcare support to our multi-professional team in delivering high-quality care to patients.
• Conduct phlebotomy services, taking bloods as requested by the nurse and GP, and referring to the GP and nurse as necessary and in accordance with agreed clinical guidelines.
• Perform blood pressure checks, urine tests, heights and weights, body mass index, and/or waist measurement, and record as required.
• Support the nursing team with chronic disease care for patients, including provision of basic wound care and suture/clip removal, assisting the nurses.
• Promote the Chlamydia Screening Programme to all 16-24 year olds and support the chronic disease management monitoring by providing support to the nursing team and ensuring accurate data entry into SystmOne.
