About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Residential Children's Worker. This is an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of vulnerable children and young people.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality care and support to children with diverse needs, including those with disabilities.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with children, based on mutual respect, trust, and open communication.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to deliver excellent standards of care, using relationship-based practice and a holistic approach.
  • Support children to develop their independence skills, including education and life skills.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of individual care plans, ensuring the needs of each child are met.
Requirements
  • Experience of working with children and young people, particularly those with additional needs.
  • Knowledge of relationships and their impact on children coming into and leaving care.
  • Ability to work holistically, delivering care and support across the 3 key areas of skill: day-to-day care, relationship building, and education.
  • Commitment to continued professional development and ongoing training.
