We are seeking a skilled Material Planner to join our dynamic team at Samworth Brothers, a fourth-generation family business producing high-quality own-label products for many of the UK's best-known retailers.
Key Responsibilities:- Ensure materials and packaging are available to meet demand through effective ordering and inventory control processes.
- Build internal relationships across site and Food to Go business unit.
- Place orders with suppliers, ensuring deliveries are scheduled to meet production demand.
- Daily use of department KPI's to identify appropriate resource stock levels, minimizing waste, special vehicles, and redundant stock write-off.
