About the Role

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Rehabilitation Support Workers to join our team at Daniel Yorath House. This specialized facility provides comprehensive rehabilitation services to individuals who have acquired brain injuries and complex needs, including cognitive, physical, and emotional challenges.

As a Rehabilitation Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting residents on their journey towards recovery and independence. Your responsibilities will encompass:

  • Providing personalized care and support to residents, assisting with daily living activities such as personal hygiene, dressing, and meal preparation.
  • Organizing and participating in a range of therapeutic activities designed to enhance cognitive function, physical abilities, and social skills.
  • Creating a positive and supportive environment that fosters residents' well-being and encourages their active participation in their rehabilitation program.
  • Working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, including nurses, therapists, and social workers, to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care.
