About the Role

The Worthgate School is seeking a highly skilled Financial Manager to join our team. As a Financial Manager, you will be responsible for managing the financial operations of the school, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, and providing financial guidance to the management team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the financial planning and analysis function, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling.
  • Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Oversee the financial reporting process, including the preparation of financial statements and management reports.
  • Provide financial guidance and support to the management team, including financial analysis and recommendations.
  • Manage the financial planning and analysis team, including coaching and developing team members.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in finance or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in financial management, preferably in an educational institution.
  • Strong financial planning and analysis skills, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with senior management and other stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and make informed recommendations.
