About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist to join our team at Guy's and St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing the Fetal Medicine and high-risk obstetric service at William Harvey Hospital, as well as contributing to the expanding Fetal Medicine service and high-risk, obstetric and maternal medicine service at Guys and St Thomas' Hospital.

Key Responsibilities

  • Undertake a regular labour ward day at GSTT and weekday and weekend obstetric on calls.
  • Conduct weekly antenatal clinics at both GSTT and WHH, as well as Fetal Medicine sessions across both Trusts.
  • Develop and implement clinical governance targets and quality improvement initiatives.

Requirements

  • Full UK GMC registration and a Licence to Practise.
  • Entry onto the GMC Specialist Register or eligibility for entry within six months of the date of the Interview.
  • MRCOG or equivalent specialist qualification.
  • Subspecialty training in Maternal-fetal medicine.
