Structural Engineer Position

We are seeking a skilled Structural Engineer to contribute to the success of our growing consultancy in Gateshead. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality design work, from initial surveys to project completion. A background in housing, extra care, or nursing is highly desirable.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough structural surveys of buildings and structures.
- Develop and prepare designs for structural schemes, adhering to British Standards.
- Collaborate with technicians to create detailed design drawings and specifications.
- Monitor construction progress and provide expert advice to contractors.
- Utilize MasterSeries software to streamline design processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
- Membership of the ICE or IStructE, or Chartered status.
- Excellent technical design and drawing skills.
- Strong team player with a collaborative mindset.
- Proficiency in MasterSeries software.
