Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Stores Operative to join our team at Manpower UK - RISE. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth receipt, storage, and issue of materials to our operatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Receive and inspect goods upon delivery, verifying their condition and accuracy
  • Operate mechanical handling equipment to offload vehicles and manage stock levels
  • Organize and maintain a safe and efficient storage environment
  • Chase late deliveries and missing goods to ensure timely resolution
  • Maintain accurate stock records and conduct regular stock takes
  • Operate a B1 Forklift to move materials around the warehouse
  • Supply materials to General Operatives as required, ensuring timely and accurate delivery
  • Contribute to a clean and tidy workplace, adhering to health and safety standards
Requirements
  • A positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills
  • Previous stores experience is an advantage, but not essential
  • Forklift experience is highly desirable
