Overview of Role

At Allied Bakeries, we're seeking a skilled Multi-Skilled Shift Engineer to join our team in Walthamstow. As a key member of our operations team, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the smooth running of our bakery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and resolve automation, electrical, and mechanical issues during breakdowns.
  • Implement our engineering strategy with consistency and efficiency.
  • Deliver improvement projects on time and within budget.
  • Support site performance by focusing on KPIs such as OEE and CCOs.
  • Maintain high standards of safe working practices.
  • Provide training and coaching to operators and other engineers.
  • Undertake additional activities as required, supporting the overall function of the site.
Requirements
  • A candidate with effective communication skills.
  • Experience in training and coaching others.
  • A Higher National Certificate (HNC) in electrical, automation, or multi-skilled engineering (or equivalent experience).
  • Enthusiastic and motivated, with a motivation for continuous improvement.
  • Ready and equipped to address emerging requirements within the business.
