About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and creative Activities Leader to join our team at Beaumont Care Homes. As an Activities Leader, you will be responsible for planning and delivering a range of activities that promote the physical, emotional, and social well-being of our residents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a varied and engaging activities program that meets the needs and interests of our residents.
  • Assess the needs of residents and develop personalized activity plans to ensure their participation and enjoyment.
  • Collaborate with care staff and other team members to ensure seamless delivery of activities and care.
  • Build relationships with residents, families, and external partners to gather life story information and develop activities that reflect their interests and hobbies.
  • Support the development of community links and arrange trips and excursions to promote social interaction and engagement.
  • Contribute to the creation of evidence-based activity plans and track resident engagement.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a care environment, preferably with a focus on activities and engagement.
  • Proven ability to plan and deliver structured and meaningful activities that promote resident well-being.
