Fawkes and Reece are seeking a skilled Roofer to join their Responsive team in the Skelmersdale area. This is an opportunity to work with a well-established business with a great reputation, who are working on a long-term framework with the Local Authority.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Undertaking repair/renewal roofing works.
  • Communicating effectively with the scheduler, residents, and line manager.
  • Working safely and in compliance with Health & Safety and safeguarding requirements.
  • Remaining up to date with technical and legal requirements of the skill area.
  • Working in partnership with other operatives to complete repairs when required.
  • Completing work sheets detailing work undertaken and materials used after each job undertaken, via a PDA.

Experience required

Previous experience working as a Roofer on refurbishment projects and having the skills to deliver small projects and repair work. Ideally, you will have experience within the housing maintenance sector, but this is not a must.

You will also have relevant trade qualifications (Level 3) and a full UK driving licence - CSCS Card is also a requirement.

This is a full-time, permanent role with a salary of £33k + van and benefits.
