Senior Wetland Conservation Manager

We are seeking an experienced Senior Wetland Conservation Manager to lead our complex farm advisory project across 9 Devon water catchments.
About the RoleThis is a full-time, permanent post based at either Cookworthy or Cricklepit Mill in Exeter. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing nature-based solutions to deliver improvements in water quality, biodiversity, and resource sustainability.
You will work closely with our team of experts in river restoration, habitat creation, agri-environment funding support, and water quality to achieve our goals.
Key Responsibilities- Lead a team of around 15 staff to deliver project objectives.
- Develop and implement nature-based solutions to improve water quality, biodiversity, and resource sustainability.
- Work with landowners to provide conservation and advisory services.
- Manage budgets and resources to ensure project success.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A good working knowledge of agri-environment schemes and relevant agricultural and environmental policies.
- Budget and people management experience.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
We offer a competitive salary of £55,000 - £65,000 per annum, depending on experience.
