Job Title: Transport Engineer Manager

Salary: £49,500 - £54,000 per annum

We are seeking an experienced Transport Engineer Manager to join our team at Transport for London (TfL). As a key member of our regulatory affairs department, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of transportation in London.

**Responsibilities:**

  • Develop and implement licensing policies and standards for taxis, private hire vehicles, and pedicabs in London.
  • Engage with stakeholders, including the Department for Transport, to ensure compliance with regulations and legislation.
  • Draft policy changes and present them to TfL colleagues.

**Requirements:**

  • BTEC HNC/HND in motor vehicle technology, mechanical engineering, or electrical engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • Proven professional experience in vehicle repair or fleet operations.
  • Excellent communication skills to explain technical information clearly to non-technical people.
