About the Nursing Home Manager Role:

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Nursing Home Manager to lead our team of care professionals in a leading nursing home in East Lothian.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and develop a team of care professionals to deliver high-quality care and services to residents.
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the nursing home, ensuring a smooth and efficient running of the facility.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve care and services, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to residents, including those with dementia and other complex needs.
Requirements:
  • NMC Registered Adult Nurse/RGN, Registered Mental Health Nurse/RMN, or Registered Learning Disability Nurse/RNLD.
  • Previous home manager experience, with a proven track record of success in leading care teams.
  • SVQ Level 4 in Care Services Leadership and Management is desirable.
  • Good clinical knowledge and understanding, with excellent communication, organisational, interpersonal, and time-management skills.
