Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Social Worker to join our Children with Disabilities Team at Bury Council. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting children and families to achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work with children and families to identify and address their needs, providing support and guidance to promote positive outcomes.
  • Develop and implement effective care plans, working collaboratively with other professionals and agencies to ensure the best possible outcomes for children.
  • Conduct assessments and reviews, using your expertise to inform decision-making and ensure the needs of children are met.
  • Provide training and support to colleagues, sharing your knowledge and expertise to enhance the quality of our services.

Requirements

  • Qualified Social Worker with experience of working with children and families.
